WARRANTY Information

Your sunglasses are fully warranted by each manufacturer against manufacturer's defects. Please note: no warranty by any sunglass manufacturer covers scratched lenses or accidental breakage or damage. Each sunglass is carefully inspected before shipment. If damage occurs during shipment, please contact the shipper.

Most warranties are for one year from date of shipment. Warranties may vary by manufacturer, however. Warranty information is listed as part of the product description for each sunglass and more detailed information is included with every product shipment.

Repairs of defects for sunglasses under warranty are usually at no charge. However, you will be required to show proof of purchase within the warranty period, so be sure to save all receipts and transaction records.

Adidas products have a 2 year warranty from date of purchase for manufacturer's defects. Scratched lenses and/or damaged product due to neglect are not part of the warranty.

Bolle

Bollé sunglasses and ski goggles are warranted by Bollé, for one year from date of purchase against defects in materials and/or workmanship. Bollé will replace or repair at our option, free of charge with proof of purchase any Bollé sunglass or ski goggle found to be defective during the warranty period

For this warranty to apply, purchase must have been made in the United States from an authorized Bollé Dealer and proof of purchase is required. This warranty shall not apply to any defect or damage caused by improper or unreasonable use of the product. Bollé lenses are not warranted against scratching. Bollé Ski Goggle lenses and Acrylex sunglass lenses are not unbreakable and are not designed to withstand severe impact. They are designed to provide protection against solar radiation, wind and snow only.

For those people unable to take advantage of the Bollé Limited Warranty. Bollé will repair damage to its sunglasses caused by accidental breakage and/or normal use, after our inspection at our place of business. After inspection an estimate letter will be sent to the consumer. The consumer can call or fax Bollé back their reply to the letter within 20 days to accept the offer and submit payment or have the original pair sent back with no repairs.

Bollé will attempt to repair all sunglasses within 10 working days after receipt. Depending upon parts availability, it may at times take longer to complete the necessary repairs. Please note we cannot reconstruct new sunglasses when all parts are damaged or destroyed. Important: Please provide a daytime telephone number. This will speed up the repair process should we need to contact you. Bollé recommends that you ship all items to us via a carrier who provides package traceability. Such carriers include UPS, registered U.S. Mail, Priority Mail, etc. We also accept MasterCard and Visa. Please provide your card name, account number and expiration date if you would like your credit card charged.

We build them to last. Our lenses are stronger and more scratch resistant than any other fit over sunglass in the world. We continue to improve our products, but our warranty will never change…it's for life!

Live Eyewear sunglasses are warranted to the original purchaser for life against any defect in materials or workmanship!

Live Eyewear will repair or replace, at our option, any pair of Live Eyewear sunglasses found to be defective - exclusive of damage caused by improper or unreasonable use. The lifetime warranty applies to the frames only, not the lenses. The lenses are guaranteed to be free from manufacturers defect and remain scratch resistant for a period of one year from original date of purchase, exclusive of damage caused by improper or unreasonable use. No sunglass lens is scratch proof, but Cocoons lenses are warranted to be scratch resistant for a period of one year after original date of purchase. Live Eyewear, at our discretion, replace or repair any lens(es) damaged or defective under normal use.

Any alteration or modification of the original product will void the warranty. All repairs will be completed within 10 days of receipt and returned via registered mail. Sunglasses returned to Live Eyewear during the warranty period, must be accompanied by the following:

1. Original proof of purchase: A dated copy of the original sales receipt with your returned Live Eyewear.
2. A check for $6.95 to cover shipping and handling.
3. A brief note detailing the problem and how the sunglasses broke.
4. Include your name, phone number and address in the event that we need to contact you.

All Dragon products are in accordance with the EEC directive 89/686, for the I.P.D of category I corresponding to the European Community directive.

Gargoyles warrants Angel, Anarchy, Hobie, Stussy and Wrangler branded eyewear and replacement lenses to be free from any and all defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Our Gargoyles brand (only) is warranted to be free from any and all defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Upon receipt and inspection, Gargoyles, Inc. will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any eyewear returned during the warranty period subject to the following terms and conditions:

A copy of your proof of purchase is required for this warranty to apply. A proof of purchase consists of including a copy of your original sales receipt showing clearly the date of purchase with your returned eyewear. If you do not have these items or have additional questions, please contact our warranty department for help.

A check or money order for $9.50 to cover shipping and handling must accompany your returned eyewear.

This warranty does not apply to normal wear, including lens scratches, or any defect or non-conformity caused by improper or unreasonable use, as determined by Gargoyles, Inc.

This warranty does not include any replacement lens prepared by others for individual use and comfort.

Please remember to remove your Rx lenses from your frames before sending them in for repair. Gargoyles, Inc. is not responsible for lost Rx lenses.

Examples of Defects Covered by the Gargoyles Warranty
Crazing of any style of lens (looks like a spider web when looking through the lens).

Mirroring applied to lens flaking off. Flaking off occurs without rubbing the lens. Mirroring coming off when rubbing the lens is not covered by warranty.

Delamination (exhibited by deterioration or lightening of the polarized film laminated inside the lens) of polarized lens. If both lenses are delaminating at the edges this is an indication that lens has been exposed to excessive moisture and this is not covered by our warranty.

Stress crack of glass lens at point of pressure from the rim screw (lens cracks or chips near the screw).

Limited Warranty: Gatorz Aluminum Sunglasses will be warranted to the original purchaser for one full year from the date of purchase against any defect in materials or workmanship. After the first year of purchase, or for those who do not have a receipt within the first year of purchase, Gatorz will rebuild and precision tune each and every part of your sunglasses to the quality and standards that originally went into your Gatorz Aluminum Sunglasses. If for any reason Gatorz cannot repair your sunglasses, they will replace them with a Brand New Pair At The Rebuild Cost. You will enjoy many years of the best quality sunglasses on the market today. All repairs will generally be completed within 7-10 working days and then returned via UPS Ground. International Shipping may vary.

Warranty is void if the watch is opened by anyone other than the Rip Curl Service Centre. Five years on movements from the date of purchase. A movement is the part inside the watch that makes it work, but it does not include the crown, sometimes called the winder. Two years on waterproof from the date of purchase. We recommend all Watches be serviced, resealed and tested for water proofness every two years as heat, temperature changes, salt and other elements will diminish waterproofness over time. Have this done at the Rip Curl Service Centre and we will then issue a new warranty for another two years. One year on batteries from the date of purchase. Rip Curl’s Service Centre can replace all batteries and at the same time will reseal and test the watch functions and waterproofness. We will then issue a new one year warranty on the new battery. The glass, band and case IS NOT covered by any warranty. All warranty claims MUST be sent with a purchase receipt clearly showing the purchase date. The warranty book is not proof of purchase without a purchase receipt. e.g. A purchase receipt is the cash register receipt or credit card statement clearly showing the purchase. Rip Curl reserves the right to repair or replace, with an equivalent style, any warranty watch.

Your Smith sunglasses or goggles are warrantied against manufacturing defects (as determined by Smith Sport Optics) for one year from the date of purchase. Smith will replace or repair, at our discretion, any product proving to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by misuse of the product, lack of reasonable care, user-caused scratches, pitts or broken lenses , accidents or loss of the product. If you believe your sunglasses or goggles are defective or if you wish to have them repaired, please return them via UPS, Express Mail or any other method that allows them to be insured and traced if lost, directly to:

Spy Optics

Spy provides a one-year warranty from the date of purchase to replace or repair any frame or lens, which is deemed a manufacturer’s defect. Scratched lenses, as a result of normal use, are not covered by this warranty. Spy does, however offer a replacement service for items not covered under warranty.

For warranty or repair service, please follow these easy steps:
First acquire a return authorization number (RA#). Write the R.A.# on the outside of the package. Packages received by Spy with no R.A.# visible will be refused and returned to sender. Send your Spy sunglasses with the following information inside the package: A copy of your receipt dated within one year from an authorized Spy dealer. If you do not have the receipt, we can replace your frame for a nominal processing fee. Include a written description of the problem or services that you are requesting with your name, return address and daytime phone number. Our warranty department will contact you regarding the replacement charges.

Lens Replacement Service:
If your lenses are scratched and you wish to replace them, Spy will gladly install a new set into your frame for a nominal fee. Note: we recommend changing lenses on the following frames only: Scoop, Scoop GS, Scoop XS, Scoop HS, Micro Scoop, and Neo Scoop. We do not recommend changing lenses on chromium painted frames as the paint may chip from the sharp edge of the lens. If you have scratched lenses on any other Spy frames, the entire sunglass can be replaced at a discounted rate. Please call 800.SPYEYES and ask for the Warranty Department.

We built our reputation on quality, performance product and we stand behind it. If you experience a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship Suncloud Optics warrants your sunglasses for the lifetime of the product, and we will repair or replace the product at no charge. Suncloud Optics has sole discretion to determine manufacturer's defects.

To make a claim, do not return your Suncloud product to the store. Stores are not authorized to provide service under this warranty. Instead, print and send us the complete Lifetime Warranty Claim Form (this is located on the SunCloud website - http://www.suncloudoptics.com/warranty.html).

Repair: For a fee Suncloud Optics (at our discretion) will repair or replace lenses, frames and other parts as needed and available. Warranty: This warranty program lasts for the lifetime of your Suncloud product. This warranty program covers all parts of your Suncloud product and applies to all types of manufacturing defects or failure. The warranty program does not cover product that is lost, stolen, dropped, shattered, sat on, chewed by your pet or any other damage that is caused by the consumer.

If Vuarnet Optical deems the product in question to be more than one year old, it will not be covered under warranty. Vuarnet prescription lenses are warranted for manufacturer defects only. For this warrantyto apply, purchase must have been made in the U.S. from an authorized Vuarnet dealer.
